900 year old Viking message decoded

As its Valentines day I thought I would send you something sickly sweet that you could show Mag!

This carving is 900 years old and over the past few years researchers have been trying to decode this carving and Viking language (the jötunvillur code and is part of the rune alphabet).

Turns out this piece reads ‘Kiss me’ which is super sweet especially when you hear that writing coded messages, like this one was apparently an enjoyed Viking pastime!
