For my derby wife

Intersections: Caved Wood Cube

The patterns that this cube make on the wall are pretty awesome. Intersections

According to Colossal magazine  the cube has been created:

‘ by mixed media artist Anila Quayyum Agha, this elaborately carved cube with an embedded light source projects a dazzling pattern of shadows onto the surrounding gallery walls. Titled Intersections, the installation is made from large panels of laser-cut wood meant to emulate the geometrical patters found in Islamic sacred spaces.’

Oh wow that is so beautiful! What an amazing woman to think of such a thing. It is lovely to have something inspiring to look at first thing in the morning 🙂
